New York, NY, January 4th, 2006 - On December 17, SawYouAtSinai.com, the Jewish online matchmaking service, will be celebrated its two-year anniversary. With nearly 13,000 members and over 280 matchmakers, singles are being introduced to potential matches on a constant basis all over the world. Since Marc Goldmann and Azi Cutter created the site, it has been responsible for matching 160 members to date.

SawYouAtSinai’s members and matchmakers are located all around the globe. Members have the option of choosing up to two matchmakers who will set them up with other singles on the site.

“I live with a few girls in an apartment in Brooklyn and almost all of us are members,” remarks Sandra, a member of SawYouAtSinai. “We joke that it is a requirement of moving in!”

Throughout the two years that SawYouAtSinai has been in existence, the Rabinically-endorsed service has hosted several events, attracting people with a large range of interests. Over Memorial Day Weekend SawYouAtSinai, along with the Alevy Family Foundation coordinated a “Back to Camp” getaway, where 420 singles from around the world went to Camp Moshava, located in Pennsylvania. More than just enjoying themselves, people left this weekend with high hopes for potential matches, having made new connections.

In November, SawYouAtSinai co-hosted an event with Nefesh B’Nefesh in New York City, hoping to create connections between singles that wanted to make Aliyah. Ari Schuchman, Associate Director of Overseas Programs for Nefesh B’Nefesh and Danielle Jacobs, Director of Marketing and Member Services for SawYouAtSinai, greeted the nearly 200 people that attended the event.

“This is just one of SawYouAtSinai’s continuous attempts at making it possible for potential matches to meet,” says Jacobs.

“I wanted to let you know how great I think this site is just because of the fact that it is trying to do something about the ‘singles crisis’,” says a member of the service, “especially because it is so successful. We appreciate it!”

It is not only the members who benefit from the SYAS technology. The matchmakers appreciate the ease and efficiency of the site. One matchmaker comments, “I love matching through the site. It is so much more efficient than my previous traditional techniques. Now I have access to information about thousands of singles which helps me make more compatible matches and correspond with the members too. Its brilliant”
